Plight/At odds with

U Hla takes morning tea with friends @ 34 st.;
They discuss about the [plight ] of friend ko htay ;
Ko Htay has long been [at odds with] his brother-in-law;
His brother-in-law, drug-addict , physically attacked ko htay ;
Ko Htay had to leave his home and only son.
He is now in a monastery.

Plight(n) dilemma[ျပသနာ]; predicament(အၾကပ္အတည္း); difficulty(အခက္အခဲ);
at odds with[adj.] မတည္.
